I recently was searching Google and YouTube to see if their was an Alien Face Hugger Logo Set, and/or to see if anyone had built a Face Hugger from Lego (using their own design).
I quickly learned that if you buy the Creator 3-in-1 Cute Bunny LEGO Set 31162, its parts can be used to build a Face Hugger. I then learned that this was invented by @dicken_tututu who posted the plans to his/her Instagram page. I first heard about this in this blog post on thebrickpost.com
I like the idea of turning a Lego set into something entirely different. I did not know this had a name, till I discovered the phrase “MOC (My Own Creation)”: “To transform a Lego set into something different, you can rebuild it into an original MOC (My Own Creation) using its parts, or you can find alternate build instructions for the set’s parts on websites like Rebrickable. You can also use your imagination to find a new purpose for the set’s specific pieces, considering their colors and shapes for your new creation.”
I like the overal look of this Lego Face Hugger. I think the tail is a bit short though… however, if I was to buy a 2nd Lego set, I’m guessing I could extend the length of the tail.
I then found out you can buy a pretty good looking ‘lego style’ Face Hugger kit on Aliexpress. I like the black stand, but I don’t really like the tail.
I did though then also find this on Aliexpress. I REALLY like the tail (and it’s length).
PS. I also saw these other Alien-related builds using Lego:
